This results in a higher chlorophyll and L-theanine content and a richer, greener colour. Only the finest, most delicate fresh leaves are then collected, dried and ground into powder. Full of powerful antioxidants and catechins. Calming as well as energising.

Moya Matcha is grown in the Uji region of Kyoto, known for its top quality green tea cultivation for over 800 years.
The Uji region is known for its healthy soils and clean water. The green tea plants there have ideal conditions for growth thanks to hills that provide good sunlight,
and fog that protects sensitive leaves from frost and rain showers. Moya Matcha is carefully grown and harvested by hand on small family-owned organic tea plantations.
It is then processed locally in Japan and shipped in small deliveries to ensure the highest quality and control. A process of hand-picking and stone grinding ensures that
the leaf maintains its quality and high level of minerals and antioxidants.
