This custom formulation is especially helpful for people transitioning to a diet with more healthy fats, as it has three types of lipase that help digest fat. Smidge Digestive Enzymes also includes enzymes to help digest complex carbs in gassy foods like beans, cabbage and broccoli - and starchy foods like oats and rice. In addition, it has special enzymes to support the breakdown of casein and gluten.
Unlike Smidge HCI+Enzymes, Smidge Digestive Enzymes does not contain hydrochloric acid (HCL) or pepsin.Smidge Digestive Enzymes is a supplement for people who already make enough HCL in their stomachs.
Smidge Digestive Enzymes focuses on digestive enzymes alone. And while it has lipase, lactase, phytase and the protease complex found in Smidge HCI+Enzymes, it also includes some other more targeted enzymes:

Dosage: take 2 capsules with each meal, or as guided by a healthcare professional. For children and sensitive adults, a smaller dose may be obtained by pulling apart the capsule and taking a portion of the contents.
